Richmond— Perry "Pat" Turner, of P.E. Turner and Company, Richmond was awarded the 2007 Appraiser of the Year Award during the during the Virginia Association of REALTORS’ (VAR) annual awards banquet, held February 14 in Richmond.
Presented by the Appraisal Alliance/VAR, the award recognizes an appraiser who participates in local and state association activities as a leader or volunteer; and who exemplifies a community-minded spirit through activities connected with youth and religious groups, cultural contributions, and political leadership in real estate issues.
Turner, a member of the Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR), is a three-term member of the Virginia Real Estate Appraiser Board, and served as their chairman 1994-1996.
