Richmond -- George Creed, an associate broker with Re/Max Xecutex in Oakton was named the 2007 CRS of the Year during the Virginia Association of REALTORS'® (VAR) annual awards banquet, held February 14 in Richmond. The CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation is the mark of expertise and professionalism in residential real estate sales and marketing.
Creed has been involved at the national, state and local levels of the Realtor organization, and is currently serving as the 2008 president of the Virginia CRS Chapter. A member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, he holds five professional designations: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI). He also currently serves on the VAR Policy Board, the Rotary Club of Vienna board, and has been a member of the Vienna-Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce since 1993.
