2017 Professional Standards Seminars

Every year, VAR sponsors local training for Boards of Directors; Professional Standards & Grievance Committee Members; Certified Ethics Trainers; Association Executive Officers and staff; and Mediators to learn the concepts and management of professional standards.

Full attendance is required to receive course and continuing education credit (no partial credit awarded). This course is pending approval for 3 Hours Ethics for Continuing Education (no Post License Education credit).  This course does NOT satisfy the NAR Quadrennial Ethics requirement for the period ending 12/31/18.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Class hours are from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Registration Policies

  • Registration and a light breakfast will be available from 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
  • Class will start promptly at 9:00 a.m.
  • Lunch is included.
  • No registrations will be accepted less than three days before the seminar. On-site registration is limited.
  • ALL registrants must pay the course fee associated with their seminar.
  • In the case of inclement weather, contact the VAR office at 1(800) 755-8271 or (804) 264-5033 to confirm seminar or check
  • This is NOT for individuals who want to become certified ethics instructors.
  • Confirmations are automatically sent to on-line registrants.
  • We will transfer your course fee if you switch locations at least five days before the first seminar start date; course fees are non-refundable.
  • This course does NOT satisfy NAR’s biennial ethics training requirement for the period ending 12/31/18.
  • All registrations processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
