Join the Appraisal Alliance and the Southwest Virginia Association of REALTORS® for the 2012-2013 USPAP Class on April 26, 2012 with Joe Durrer. Registration begins at 8:00 p.m. and the class starts promptly at 8:30 p.m. Please be sure to bring the 2012-2013 USPAP Handbook with you. The workbook will be provided as part of the class.

 Students attending this course will walk away with:

  • Understanding of recent changes to USPAP requirements for ethical behavior  and competent performance by appraisers
  • Clarification of several commonly misunderstood aspects of USPAP
  • Updated competency in USPAP

 This course provides students with an understanding of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).  Course content includes:  USPAP definitions, the Appraisal Standards Board and its activities; coverage and scope of USPAP; USPAP standards, Statements of Appraisal Standards, Advisory Opinion, Ethics, Competency and Departure Provisions.  Revisions to the current USPAP included.  This course satisfies the requirement as mandated by the Appraisal Board.
