Bud Kreh of Montague Miller & Company in Madison named 2009 Manager of the Year Award
Bud Kreh, ABR, CRB, CRS, GRI, of Montague Miller & Company in Madison, VA, was presented the 2009 Manager of the Year Award during the Virginia Association of REALTORS’ (VAR) annual awards reception, held February 18 in Richmond. He is a member of both the Greater Piedmont Area Association of Realtors (GPAAR) and the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors (CAAR).
VAR's Virginia Managers Council presents this award, which recognizes excellence in real estate management by a Realtor manager who shows a commitment to personal education and internal or external education and training supplied to Associates. Business and civic accomplishments, as well as innovation and creativity in management including Associate recruitment and retention, are a part of the criteria for nomination.
A Realtor since 1964, Kreh has been a volunteer for several different committees for both the state and local Realtor associations. He is a certified ethics instructor and teaches at both the Greater Piedmont and Charlottesville Area Associations. He currently is vice chairman of the VAR Risk Management Committee, which oversees professional standards curriculum and training, ethics and standard forms for Realtors in Virginia. He holds six professional designations: ABR (Accredited Buyer Agent), CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute), e-PRO (real estate internet professional), and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist).
