Elizabeth Kistler of Coldwell Banker Commercial in Harrisonburg named 2009 Ann Swearingen Residential Property Manager of the Year award

Elizabeth Kistler of Coldwell Banker Commercial in Harrisonburg is the 2009 recipient of the VAR Ann Swearingen Residential Property Manager of the Year award, presented Feb. 18 during the Virginia Association of REALTORS’ (VAR) annual awards reception in Richmond.

The award, named in honor of Virginia Realtor Ann Swearingen, is presented annually to a Virginia residential property manager in recognition of individual achievement in the industry. Coldwell Banker Commercial manages over 800 units in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County area.

A member of the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Association of Realtors (HRAR), Kistler is an active participant in VAR’s Property Management Advisory Council and serves in leadership roles at both the state and local Realtor associations.  She is active with the Boys and Girls Club, the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Free Clinic and the Junior Women’s Club. In addition, Kistler works closely with James Madison University to educate students on safe and healthy living conditions off campus.
