Larry Anderson of Exit Advantage Realty in Fairfax receives the 2009 George Rink Outstanding State Real Estate Educator Award

Larry Anderson, ABR, GRI, of Exit Advantage Realty in Fairfax, received the 2009 George Rink Outstanding State Real Estate Educator Award during the Virginia Association of REALTORS’ (VAR) annual awards reception, held February 18 at the Richmond Omni Hotel.

The Outstanding Real Estate Educator Award recognizes a Realtor who exemplifies leadership and service and has made significant contributions to real estate education at either the state or local level. It is named in honor of one of Virginia’s most well-known real estate educators, the late George Rink.

A member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR), Anderson has authored more than 20 courses on residential and commercial real estate for NVAR.  He is licensed to teach Principles of Real Estate, Continuing Education, Post Licensing Education, and Broker Continuing Education. He is also a nationally certified instructor for several designations and programs including the National Association of Realtors’ Green designation.

In 2005, Anderson created and delivered a series of high-level training sessions for real estate agents to identify mortgage fraud for Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Most recently, he authored NVAR’s Broker Management continuing education course, reintroduced at NVAR in 2009.
