VARbuzz: David Stevens leaving MBA, going to head SunTrust

 Former Long & Foster president and COO David Stevens, who took over as the head of the Mortgage Bankers Association about a year ago, will leave that post to become president of SunTrust Mortgage.

Stevens also served as head of the Federal Housing Administration and as Assistant Secretary of Housing under President Obama.
