What Is ITI?
ITI stands for Instructor Training Institute, and is a professional development resource for real estate instructors and trainers. This is not your average "presentation skills" training program. The Instructor Training Institute is tailored to help you improve your course development and delivery skills.
NAR Quadrennial Ethics Training
Between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2016, every Realtor® is required to complete 2 1/2 hours of Code of Ethics training. NAR offers a free course.

This session will be rescheduled for the last quarter of 2013.
The VAR Instructor Training Institute is your key to perfecting your course development skills, enhancing your ability to engage students, and improving your delivery style. Participants will walk away with intensive training in the various adult learning styles. Attend this course and you’ll receive
- A video clip of you instructing and presenting;
- Constructive critiques from the facilitator and colleagues;
- Insight on using visual aids and effectively dealing with different learning styles; and
- A better understanding of what it takes to design and deliver an effective seminar.

The VAR Instructor Training Institute is designed to help you improve your course development skills, as well as your delivery and presentation style.
A pre-requisite for anyone who wishes to seek a position on the Virginia REALTOR® Institute faculty, the course is valuable for both experienced and inexperienced instructors.
National real estate instructor Tina Daniel, along with facilitator Dale Carlton, will be facilitating the three-day program, and participants will use what is learned to develop and deliver instructional presentations that will be videotaped and evaluated by both the facilitator and other classmates.
