VREEF to Grant Thousands to Local Association Education

Approved in late 2010, the VAR and VREEF Board of Directors approved a strategic grant program that will assist local Realtor® associations in providing risk management education to members in 2011. The two-year program, engineered by 2011 VAR President John DIckinson, will allow each local association to receive funds up to a pre-set limit to cover expenses related to hosting this education. The grant program is in lieu of the regular VREEF grant program, as trustees devote their focus on how to re-capitalize VREEF and assure its long-term viability.
